As usually I love Ms. Bolryder's story and her ability to weave a wonderful and fun filled bear tale. I had an issue with this one and it was the portrayal of the Jamie. The issue is that she is supposed to be an Alpha female wolf and yet she is being painted as a fearful personalty and afraid to fight for her rights. The alpha to me means that she should be a force to be reckoned with and that includes all alpha male wolves. She should never be fearing them at all. The fact that you add to that her fear of all males makes me crazy and I couldn't give this a 5 star rating.The actual interactions between Limes and Jamie were interesting. I loved that he was not able to recognize what was actually happening between them and yet he had all the signs of a bearing in mating heat. I thought the were a really hot, sexy couple when they got down to the nitty gritty and I love the depth of their relationship as it evolved.
It's over all a great read and I think you will like it, IF, you can get past A wishy-washy heroine. That one for me was a major leap and if I was not familiar with MS Bolryder's other works I might have had a bigger problem with the story over all.

I really enjoy these shifter romances! Great for a rainy day read or book at the beach. Our tortured hero is always a misunderstood animal with a good heart. You can't go wrong ordering this book!
Very refreshing but to much sex could have been more story and less sex. I am g!lad the sex didn't get clinical and go on and on for pages but I still think it took up to much of a short story. The time could have been used to endear them to each other more or just continued great story . I usually don't follow authors with so much over done sex but I really li!ke Terry's stories and how the characters from one book kind of blend over into the next book
This is the second book in the series. This is Limes and Jamie's story Limes is the grumpy, large and tattooed computer wiz of the firm. Jamie is a hacker and hires Limes to be her bodyguard under the assumption he is a nerd. Wrong Limes is anything but a nerd. Will she do any damage with her weapon of choice when they first meet? Will her stalker be caught?
Bear-ly A Hero is my first read by author Terry Bolryder and I liked it! Bear-ly A Hero is a fairly short read, perfect for those with limited time for reading. This book is well written and the characters are lovable. If you're looking for a fun read, Bear-ly A Hero has plenty of drama, action, humor and sizzle. Bear-ly A Hero is book 2 in the Bear Claw Security Series, but it can be read as a standalone. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more from Terry Bolryder in the future.
I loved this book.. I really liked the first one and rated that on 5 stars too.. But this one was even better. Limes the sour abrasive body guard is hired to protect the meek pushover alpha female wolf shifter who is on the run. Men wont stop aggressively pursuing her due to the pheromones she releases, her pack won't stop till they have claimed and broken her. It was such a great read and I can not wait for Bronson's book. The book spoke of bringing in some new ppl to help with Bear claw security, hopefully that means the series can go on after Bronson.
Fun characters. Sassy banter. And an undeniable chemistry. This book was so much fun to read, the back and forth between the characters kept saying grin on my face for most of the read. And there was just the right splash of drama to keep the whole thing interesting.
I was also really pleased that even though babysitter world had its own rules and terms those were explained as part of the story , compared to the majority I've read lately that throw these things in your face with no explanation. Very refreshing.

I love Limes! He is like a jelly doughnut if a bear could be a doughnut. He put up a sour front to protect his heart. Ultimately though he is soft inside. The action in this book is thrilling but the real reason I couldn't put it down was the sex. It is so hot and filled with passion. Jamie and Limes couldn't get enough of each other. Jamie is brave and strong. She broke down her protective barrier after a terrible past and opened up to Limes thus helped him to also open up to feel real emotions again. This story was very touching and sweet. They fought a pack of wolves together risking everything for love. Amazing story of love through tough times and misconceptions. It was also nice to see Lindon make a cameo appearance. Great job!
